Photojournalism Hub x William Morris Museum

“Me and My Community” is a documentary photography project celebrating residents aged 50 and over in Hammersmith & Fulham. Bringing together a diverse cohort of participants aged 50 to 89, the project provided a creative platform for regular collaboration, resulting in a collection of truly extraordinary photographic work.

Through their lenses, participants explored the concept of community—examining what it means on both a deeply personal and collective level.

The project culminated in a highly successful exhibition at the iconic William Morris Society in Hammersmith. The showcase drew enthusiastic crowds, vibrant community engagement, and widespread praise for its intimate, powerful portrayal of local life, marking a memorable and celebratory conclusion to the project.
